  • On arrival, you will be met at the Iguassu Falls Airport by your personal guide, who will escort you to your private vehicle and introduce you to your driver.
  • A short drive will bring you to your accommodation where you can enjoy a moment to unwind, relax and contemplate the trip that lies ahead.

Iguassu Falls (Argentina side)

  • The day begins with a breakfast buffet before you embark on an unforgettable full-day excursion to the Argentina side of the falls.
  • After crossing into Argentina, you'll visit the national Argentina park where the falls are located. A short tram ride will take you through the park and over the raised walkway above the Devil´s Throat (the largest of the falls) to feel the magnificent power of the water as it rushes below you.
  • As your guide leads you throughout the park to discover the flora and fauna, you will see the falls from various viewing points and angles, giving you the complete picture of their natural majesty. Your guide will offer suggestions of a place to grab lunch while you are in the park.
  • After enjoying some more of the trails, you will transfer back over the border and on to your hotel.

Iguassu Falls (Brazil side)

  • This day begins with a visit to the Brazilian side of the falls. Known as the world's widest waterfalls, Iguassu is actually made up of about 275 waterfalls, depending upon the water flow.
  • This visit includes a walk of about an hour and a half to two hours, with a panoramic view of this impressive aquatic wonder.
  • The walk ends on a platform that stretches out above the river at the base of some of the falls, where you can feel the cool spray of the water’s mist as you take in this natural wonder.

Iguassu Falls – Cuiaba – Pantanal

  • After an early morning transfer to the Iguassu Falls Airport, you will fly to Cuiaba.
  • Upon arrival in Cuiaba, the gateway to the Northern Pantanal, you will be met at the arrivals area of the airport and transfered to Araras Lodge (SIB service).
  • The Pantanal is known as the world's largest wetlands region and is the prime wildlife spotting destination in Brazil. From July – October, it is considered to be the dry season, in which the waters recede and wildlife viewing becomes easier than other times of the year. In addition to an abundance of mammals, birds from around the continent also flock to this region during the the dry season.
  • Transfer approximately three hours from the Cuiaba Airport to the Araras Eco Lodge.
  • There will be a light boxed lunch en route (sandwich and fruit). Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy a relaxed guided walk around the grounds of the lodge.
  • Tonight dinner is at the lodge, followed by a guided walk to observe constellations in the southern hemisphere´s sky.
  • Overnight at Araras Lodge.

Pantanal

  • Wake up to the sounds of chirping birds and make your way to a hearty breakfast buffet of fresh foods. This morning is an open Jeep safari with opportunities to see flora and fauna en route to the river.
  • Enjoy a canoe excursion on the river and a barbecue lunch along the river banks.
  • Try out piranha fishing while you are there.
  • Late this afternoon there is a hike to one of the observation towers, with your guide directing your attention to local flora and fauna along the trail.
  • Climb the 25m /82 ft high Howler Monkey Tower for sunset.
  • After dinner, venture out to spy nocturnal wildlife during an evening safari in an open Jeep safari.
  • Overnight at lodge.

Pantanal

  • The excitement of the previous day’s wildlife viewing will still be with you as you venture out for another day of activities, starting with a hike up the Rondon trail to the 12m / 40 ft high Tuiuiu Observation Tower.
  • Lunch is served at the lodge
  • A 2-3 hour horseback ride through the local trails will follow. The award-winning horses at the ranch are known for their calm demeanor, making this activity possible for varying ages and levels of experience. Without the sound of a vehicle, you can better appreciate the sounds of nature while on a horse.
  • After dinner, relax by the outdoor fire or listen to a Pantanal presentation in the lodge’s reading room.

Pantanal

  • The day starts with an open Jeep photo safari along the Transpantaneira Road, which crosses part of the Northern Pantanal from Poconé to Porto Jofre.
  • After lunch you'll enjoy a guided hike on the Ronco Trail for more opportunities to spot wildlife, before spending your evening relaxing and savoring your last night in the Pantanal.

  • After a guided sunrise hike, enjoy breakfast and then transfer from the Araras Lodge to the Cuiaba Airport.
  • From the Cuiaba Airport, return on an overnight flight to the United States, or extend your stay in Brazil and consider visiting the forests of the Amazon, cultural gem of Salvador or beautiful beaches of Rio.
